Let me tell you a little about my mother. Suk Hubbard-the greatest woman I know on this side of heaven!


She is about 5'4".
She is Korean.
She is one TOUGH COOKIE.
She is an amazing woman, a mother that still shows me how great I want to be...and most relevant to you...

She is CHEAP! She is NOT an easy sell. She is one of those people that will always buy what she always has just because!!


Let me tell you the thing about my mother that I hate the most...
My mom suffers from Fibromyalgia with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Neither of these are easy diseases to survive, and pair them together and they can be very crippling and debilitating diseases separate AND together. My mother sees a specialist at University Hospital in Denver, but she chooses to battle these diseases with her own "medical opinions". She will NOT take pain killers, as they usually balance pain-killers with anti-depressants. It is a NO for Suk Hubbard. Cortisone shots have worked...so THAT is why she refuses to continue to get them. She does not believe in other methods to heal the body. When she is in pain-you think she sits down...NO. She gets out and exercises. She believes that strengthening her body will help her fight the disease. Now please, PLEASE understand that I do not recommend this for ANYBODY. Pain is a way that our bodies know we need to rest. She should be resting. She should be taking the meds they give her. She should be listening to all medical advice and stop trying to self medicate herself with her own opinions.

And...YOU can tell her that. Listen, I've tried. This woman is a trooper. She's more active than most people MY age and she never complains, she never slows down, and overall I'm just happy that she has learned to listen to her body SOME and take it easy when she needs to. The other reason I don't harp at her is because...she's my mother and I'm STILL scared of her. I stay in my lane and I let her drive in hers!! :-)


So-the other night I go to my parents house and there is my beautiful mother propped up in her bed with her remote AND...the RENEWING BODY GELEE!!

OH yes! Score ONE for the home team! She uses it on her joints and other places when she is in pain and she is now carrying it around with her.
